REHO membership comprises three distinct categories, each with defined rights and recognition.
Founder Members
Those who signed the constituent assembly statutes and established the organisation. Founder members hold a permanent, distinguished status within REHO.

Effective Members
Professionals who apply and are approved for full membership. Effective members enjoy all rights and privileges of the organisation including voting.

Eligibility
Who Can Join REHO?
Eligibility Criteria
Membership in REHO is open to qualified Environmental Health professionals who meet the following requirements as defined in the organisation's statutes.
- Be a Rwandan citizen or a foreigner aged 18 years and above
- Hold a diploma or degree (A1 / A0) in Environmental Health Sciences
- Demonstrate good integrity with no criminal convictions
- Accept to perform all duties assigned by the organisation
- Be willing to uphold REHO's code of professional conduct
Rights & Obligations
All members share the same rights and obligations as defined in REHO's constitution.
Your Rights
- Right to attend the General Assembly
- Right to elect and to be elected in the Organisation
- Right to participate in all activities and projects
- Right to information regarding the life of the Organisation
Your Obligations
- Obligation to participate in all activities of the organisation
- Obligation to pay membership fees assigned by the General Assembly
- Obligation of respect, dignity, and confidentiality
- Obligation to uphold REHO's professional code of conduct
How to Apply

Review Requirements

Prepare Your Letter
Write a formal application letter explaining your background, why you want to join REHO, and how you will contribute.
Gather Documents
Prepare your academic degree or diploma, national ID or passport, and application letter in PDF or image format.
Submit Application
Complete the online application form, upload your documents, and submit for review by the REHO Executive Committee.
Await Approval
The General Assembly reviews applications. Decisions are communicated within 2 business days of committee review.

Upon approval, receive your official REHO membership certificate and access your full member benefits.
